Overview
Manufacton is designed to capture data at the work interface in real time. There are instances when capturing the actual time when the work is completed is not optimal or is impractical. For these instances, Manufacton allows a common Work Step that appears in multiple Production Orders to have its actual hour entered at once.
Workflow
To enter the actual time for a Work Step across multiple Production Orders at once:
- Go to the Production Manager Module
- Select the Manufacturing tab
- Under Bulk Action select Edit Work Steps
- Select the Project for with the bulk update is to be made
- Select the common Work Step for which the updates are to be made
- Select the Orders to which the updates are to be made
- Select Edit Work Steps
- It is possible to remove one or more Selected Orders
- Update the Work Step Owner
- Update the Work Step Location
- Update the Production Start/End dates
- Mark the Work Steps as Done
- Update or "Keep Current" the Planned Hours/Item
- Enter the Actual Hours
- Select how the Actual Hours will be applied to the Production Order's Work Steps
- Split Actual Hours equally between the selected Work Steps (i.e. 9:45 spread across three Order's Work Steps would enter 3:15 for each)
- Apply Actual Hours to each Work Step (i.e. the entered time would be entered as the value for each of the Work Steps)
- Select Save
