Summary
Colors are a great way to visually distinguish items with different attributes. In Manufacton, colors are used to identify what Stage a Material, Production, Shipping Order, or Submittal* is in.

Where it is Used
Colors are present in several elements within Manufacton and through several of the Manufacton extensions and plug-ins all of which are controlled by a single color palette, including:
- Supply Chain Manager
- Via the Revit Plug-In
- The Manufacton Large Model Viewer
- Via Navisworks

Adjusting the Scheme
Manufacton recognizes the fact that many firms already leverage color as an indicator, and allows your Administrators to customize the scheme to match or establish your desired flow.
To adjust the colors, select:
- App & Project Setup
- Manufacton Settings
- Colors
- Edit
Once in Edit mode, select any of the colored squares next to the stage you want to adjust and move the color selector to the desired color or enter the exact desired HEX color code.
Consideration of the Color Blind
If you have color-blind members of your team who will be leveraging Manufacton frequently, you may want to consider a color palette which is "friendly" to the color-blind. There are several resources available to help with this, Manufacton has found this one which may be helpful:
