Modify Your Security Requirements

Overview

We take security seriously.

Manufacton strives to make your organization and projects more collaborative and streamlined, but not at the expense of security. 

If you (or your IT department) would like to specify certain security parameters, see below for a step-by-step guide to enhancing your security within the ManufactOn app.

Setting Security

1. Select App and Project Setup from the menu list
2. Select the "Manufacton Settings" Tab
3. Click on the Security tab
4. Click the Edit button to modify the list of options show in this tab

Most of the settings are around password security and requirements, which are relatively standard to the industry.

Two settings are specific to Manufacton:

1. The View all project' orders setting allows users who are not part of a project to see project orders in the context of the calendar view.  This enables users to self-select when an order might be best detailed by or manufactured by. 
2. The Resume Orders By Everyone setting allows all users who have the permission to edit orders in the Detailing and Manufacturing stages to "Resume" a paused order.  If this setting is not checked, only project administrators can resume a paused order.
